Alfred's run ended as he slid right next to CAL.

"Youse gotta excuse him, he's, uh, mal...malfun...@#$%ed up."

He pulled the tall droid down to his eyes. "What are you doing?!" He whispered. CAL gave him a stern look. "I was doing fine until you showed up! I had a story and everything! Top-secret stuff, to prevent a madman from erasing existence!"

"Shut up. Did you find him? The agent?"

"No. I needed the access to�"

Yep, definitely screwed da Hell up!" Al laughed, letting go of CAL, who snapped like a rubber band back into position. Just as Al was about to go into a story about repairs and whatnot, something caught the pair's eyes.

A holodisk had slipped off of a counter, landing in front of the electronic eye that controlled a door. Through said door stood a small fellow with a large covering over his eyes...and something pulsing on his back. Four pulsings.

And that smile.

"We've found him!"

"The agent!"

The two took off for the Library, leaving a confused PHOTRON behind.
