I don't know. I just don't know. At least, she isn't lying there now, so helpless. But inwardly, she's just the same. I must tell the herd, but...perhaps, what you said, about visiting Father. Maybe I should. He's the only one she'll listen to. That much is obvious....
Wrapping visage about her own, he stands silently a few moments, own orbs stinging with unshed tears. Why did he feel like he had lost them both, all at once?
Stepping back, he sighs.
