Surely he had not done something to her. Eyes narrow. Gaze snaps to Juliet. Distrust shines in her eyes, but she says nothing more. Of course. It all made sense now. Frost's strange behavior, True Choice wanting to keep her away from the twins. They had not wanted her to know. Swift steps take her away from herdmate. How could they? Frost was her daughter. Tears sting her eyes.*
