She whickers quietly to North Star, muzzle dipping to brush across his withers. "Stay here." Slow gait brings her within talking distance, but she was still reserved. She takes in his dappled-frame, his worn appearance. Auds flicker uncertainly a'top her crown. Why had he come back? Turmoil is clear on her features. Finally she steps forth, maternal instincts winning out. "True Star...my son. W.welcome home." Muzzle brushes over his neck, eyes examining his form for injury. Memories of his younger years swarm her senses, seeing him laugh and smile. More tears follow. He was back now. For better or for worse.*
