I had Win98 installed on my Omnibook 800ct but I couldn't get the PCMCIA slot to be recognized. It was ok after I upgraded to Win2000, but Win2000 is soooooooo slooooowwwwww that I want to go back to Win98. However, how do I get the PCMCIA slot to be recognized with a Win98 install? I don't have the HP diskette or CD -- would that matter? Has anyone installed Win98 without the HP utility disk or CD and has had success with the PCMCIA slot?
