Just recieved this Omnibook from a friend.. It appears to be complete, but wont boot up..
When you apply power, it gives the POST screen, counts the correct memory, but thats where 'normal' ends..

It gives you the to enter setup line, but then says:
Configuring: [Bridge Controller]
, sometimes it repeats this once or twice, then apparantly freezes..
There is no pcmcia card installed, and the cd/floppy are both unplugged.. It sounds like the HD has spun up ok..

Any ideas?
Anyone know on this (800CT) how to access the HD to check it? And can you get the keyboard out to check the seating of any socketed chips and cables?

Any suggestions would be helpfull.

-Scott
