*Song of Glory
Sire: Rush Hour
Dam: Calypso's Song
6 m/o
mahogany bay
Anglo-Holsteiner(TB/Holsteiner)
filly
WMT: 16.2 hands
Glory is already proving herself as a dressage horse, as she can be seen doing a passage across her paddock at times. Not only will she most likely turn out to be an awesome dressage horse, but an amazing jumper as well, which she inheirits from both her dam, & her olympic winning grandsire, Calypso.Glory will turn out to be a great 3-day eventer, who might just have potential to go to the top in 3-day eventing.

*Midnight Star
Sire: Midnight Flash
Dam: Anousch
1 y/o
black
Friesian
filly
WMT: 16.2-17.1 hands
Star is a cute filly...with a bossy, bratty disposition. She thinks she's queen of the world, & bullied the other fillies in her pasture so much, that she was put in her own paddock.Star doesn't get along very well with other horses.Star looks sweet & gentle, but she is actually very spirited & fiery tempered. Is well suited for 3-day eventing, showjumping or dressage.

First i got Star from the paddock and did some ground work with her. she was very spirited and slightly naughty. After the millionth time she squealed and kicked out on the crossties, i picked up a lounge whip and tied a piece of cloth to the end, then ran the cloth all over her body until she stopped kicking up at it. then i started to groom her. she was good until i tried to pick up her feet. she locked her knees and stifles and refused to lift her feet. "Wow, for a horse that been worked with since birth, you sure are difficult" i commented to her as she tried to bite me. Finally, Mikki walked into the barn. i told him to make Star turn her head and he gently pulled on her halter. caught off guard, she shifted her weight off one front leg and i lifted it and quickly cleaned the hoof. Star snorted angrilly as i picked up the other 3 hooves and cleaned them as well. After grooming her, i did some in hand work with her, walking and trotting and halting until she behaved perfectly doing everything. Then i put her light blanket on and turned her out and went to catch Glory. Glory was a much sweeter, quieter filly and she stood willingly while i groomed her, cleaned her hooves and clipped her muzzle. then i decided to work on trailering a little because she had wanted no part of the big box when i had moved her in. I gave Mikki my keys and let him hitch up the trailer and pull it over to the loading area. then i had him help me load and unload Glory until she stepped calmly into the trailer without hesitation. I gave her a few small pieces of carrot, then turned her out with Star again and went to work with Mikki on his new training project, a mustang that we had caught. (kids riding board)
