I clipped on Sparkle's leadrope and led her into the cross-ties. I got out the rubber curry comb and made the small circles. Dust and dirt rushed into my face. I wiped it away. Then I used the soft brush and with an expert flick of my rist I got the loose hairs and dust off of her. I picked out her feet and then rubbed her down. I put the grooming kit back and got her purple saddle pad and new saddle. I lifted the saddle pad and put it down softly on her back. Then I lifted the saddle on to her back. Then I went back to the tackroom and grabbed her bridle. I went up to the side of her head and slipped the bit into her mouth. Then I pulled the head piece over her head. I buckled it up and un-clipped her from the cross-ties. I led her out into the stabl yard and mounted up using the mounting block. I looked over and saw Dylan on Pirate in the outdoor arena. I also saw Joseph giving Camryn a riding lesson on Sunset. I walked Sparkle toward the nearest paddock. I walked her around while we both stretched our legs. I cued her to trot and then asked her to extend. I then asked her collect her trot. I then cued her to canter. We extended and collected at a canter and then worked on leg yielding and flying lead changes. I then asked her to hand gallop. I stood in the stirrups and rocked to the gallop. After 2 laps I slowed her down and trotted. I trotted her around 5 more laps. While we trotted we worked leg yielding and flying lead changes. I cooled her out at a trot and then down to a walk. I walked her back to the barn and untacked her. I put her tack away and then groomed her again. Then I set her out in the paddock we were working in.
