"Beep, beep!!" I rolled over and turned of the alarm.I layed in bed for 5 minutes then got up and put on some navy blue breeches and a white polo shirt. I stuck my little over shoulder length blonde hair in a ponytail at the nape of my neck. I walked down to the kitchen and ate some cereal and toast with Joe. I quickly checked on Camryn and cleaned up the dishes and the living room wich was a mess. I then wrote Dylan and Camyn a note:

Dylan & Cam,
Me and Joe are out at the barn working the horses. We are taking Sunset and Callie on the trails. We will be back in 45 minutes.
It is 6'am right now!

I walked down to the barn and went to get Sunset. I clipped her to the cross-ties. I grabbed her grooming kit. I curryed her slowly just fussing over her with the rubber curry comb. When I was done I grabbed the soft brush and got all of the loose hairs and dirt off of her. I then slid my hand down her leg. She picked it up and I picked out her hoofs. I did that to all of her feet. Then I went to put away her grooming kit and grab her tack. I brought out her tack. I lifted her saddle pad over her back and fixed it. I then put her saddle on. I buckled the girth and took off her halter. I then quickly put on her bridle. I buckled it up. Then I un-hooked her from the cross-ties and led her to the mounting stool. I mounted Sunset with Joe beside me on Callie. We walked toward the trails behind the stable. "So, Joe what do you want for your birthday I asked." Looking at him as we trotted to the beggining of the trail. "I want a horse, and some knew riding boots mine are so old," He grinned at me. "Well since your birthday is 2 days away I think we can go horse shopping tommorow." He grinned exitedly. "Really, mom?" "Yeah," I said and smiled. "Do you want to canter." I patted Sunset's neck. "Sure," Joe answered. We urged the horses into a canter and I rocked to Sunset's smooth canter. We took the horses over some small jumps we had set up a couple of weeks ago.Then we cantered a little farther. I decided to challenge Joe and urged the game mare into a gallop. I looked under my arm and saw Joe galloping up. He won and we walked the horses back to the stable. I untacked, bathed, and put Sunset into her pasture and then I went to get Sparkle while Joe went to get Pirate.I walked into the barn and put on Sparkle's halter. I clipped her to the cross-ties. I grabbed her grooming kit and started to curry her with the rubber curry comb. Then I used the soft brush to get all of the loose hairs and dirt off. I picked out her feet and then went to put her grooming kit away. I grabbed her saddle, saddle pad, and bridle. While I was getting her tack I heard her stomp her foot. I laughed. "You want to get going huh Sparkle," I patted her neck and then lifted the saddle pad on to her back. I positioned it right and then put on her saddle. I buckled the girth and pulled her front legs forward. I then took off her halter and quickly put on her bridle.I buckled it up and then led her out to the indoor ring. Joe already had Pirate in the outdoor ring. I mounted up and kicked my feet into the stirrups. I squeezed softly with my legs. She started out at a walk. After 2 laps around the arena I urged her into a trot. I posted softly and bended her softening her mouth. I trotted her in small circles. Then I cantered her. We cantered around poles just for fun. Then we cantered in some circles. I cantered her over some small oxers as a warm up. Then I dis-mounted and quickly set up some 3' 6". We cantered toward the first jump. She soared over. The second one I mis- judged a little but we still made it. The 3rd one she soared over with feet to spare. Then a quick 3' 6" triple. The next was a liverpool. Her hind legs touched the water but I patted her neck and said it was ok. Then we cantered toward an oxer. She soared over it and I slowed her down. I patted her neck. I cooled her down as we walked back up to the barn. I untacked her and gave her a bath and then dried her. I last groomed her. Then I put her in her pasture with Callie. Sunset and Pirate were in their paddock. Joe had already worked Callie and Pirate. I walked back up to the barn and started on stalls. Joe was showing Camryn how too clean the bridles and saddles. I finished that stalls and helped clean the tack and then went inside for lunch.
