I tacked up Spanish Pirate, and brought him out to SMS's arena. I measured my stirrups and tightened the girth too. When I mounted, immediatly Pirate started walking gracefully around the arena. After a few rounds go, I steadied him into a trot. As I posted, Pirate carried me around and around the arena several times. After time's work I halted him, and then went into a trot again. I did a slow sitting trot this time, and did a standing trot as well. It was time* I thought*
I urged Pirate into a canter, and him whizzed around the arena. I halted him from there, and told him to walk on. Then, after a few more minutes, I warmed up over some caveletis on Pirate, the I jumped over X's and double oxers at 4'6" Then I dismounted Pirate and led him back to a stall.
