to keep my prize winnign TB stallion in shape, i had to exercise him daily. i decided to give him a trail ride today which would make him relaxed and keep him fit. i groomed, saddled then mounted Memento and walked him to the trails. i walked him for the first few mins, making sure he was warmed up before i tried anything more. i then cantered through the open paddock before we reached the trees. i pulled him up to a trot and trotted him evenly through the trees. i didn't want him to tire so i slowed him down to a walk and kept him at that speed until we reached Castlereagh stables again. i then hosed him down and turned him out for the afternoon.
