I went over to Sac's stall, and picked up the brand new halter I had bought just for him. I carefully opened the stall door, stepping in cautiosly. As he was eating, I tried to slip the halter on his head. Mento rose to his feet, standing on his hind legs, causing me to fall to the ground, terrified of the giant wild stallion above me. I quickly stood up and ran out of the stall. Then, I lured him out of the stables with one of my mares, and turned them out in a pasture. When they were romping around, I sat on the fence, so Mento would get used to me. Although they were out far away from me, I stood my ground for awhile. After half an hour had gone by, I edged in the pasture, about a few meters, and just stood there. Mento stared at me, as Honor trotted up to get the carrot in my hands. Mento stared with a tilted head, looking at me in a questioning way as I stroked the mares nose. I walked inside, and let Mento go for the day since it would be awhile for him to get used to me.
