I gently put the saddle and bridle on Flashdance, which he was already used to. I stepped out into the arena, with Flash following right behind me. After I tightened my girth and put the stirrups up, Flash let me mount him, and I got on with ease. Immidiatly, he started prancing around like crazy, bucking slightly. I eased up on the reigns a bit, and lightened myself be going into a two point position. When Flash only calmed down a little, I knew that this would take some work. I just sat there in a standing position, being carried around by a colt who was prancing wildly around the arena. Another problem was he wasn't going around like a regular horse was. I tried to make him go around the proper way, by pushing my leg into that direction, and pulling sharply on the reigns. He seemed to get in closer to the rail, but still no progress showed. I sat for another minute or two in the saddle, waiting for Flash to calm down a bit, but nothing happened. So, I hoped off, and decided to try again later.

I tacked Flash up yet again, and broguht him out to the arena. I did all that apprpriate stuff, and then mounted him. He pranced around like normal, and that was expected of him. Once again, I lighttened myself and softened the reigns again. This time, I stayed on Flash Dance longer, and toward the end, he calmed down a bit. He was walking around the arena! The problem was, he wan't going around the right way. I put preasure on my inside leg, and pulled gently on the reigns. Flash took a step toward the rail, but he didn't go in much. So I let him be the way he was, so he would just get used to the saddle. When Flashdance was being a good little colt, I dismounted him and untacked him. I gave Flash a treat, and then left the barn.
