i Fetched Crystal from the barn and saddled her up, after a quick grooming. I wlked her around for a while before leading her into the ring. i trotted her for a few circuits until i was convinced she was keeping the same pace for an entire circuit. Her trot was smoother than usual and my posting was regular. i then cantered her and spent the last half an hour working on her flying changes. we performed all types of serpentines at a canter and circles at a canter, her flying changes aling the straights being so smooth. She was performing so well i decided i would try to get her to take some steps back again. it worked after a few tries and she willingly took several steps backward. i decided that that was enough for the day and i walked her around for a while before unsaddling her and letting her into the paddock for the afternoon.
