Andrea was going to work Cal and i was going to work Heart. "We are going to lunge Cal and Heart today, Andrea" i said. "Sure" said Andrea. "i'll tack Cal, okay Mum" said Andrea. "Okay but be careful, she is spirited!" i said. "Mummmmmmmmm...!"said Andrea. "i know i know" i said. Andrea went to Cal's stall and talked to her quietly and soothing. She went in and put her halter on. She shaked her head for a while but she was okay about it. i attached the lunge line and she took her out of her stall. "im readdy mum!" said Andrea. "okay i am nearly ready too" i said. I had put her halter on and attached the lunge line. I then took her out of her stall. "lets go!" i shouted. We went to the outdoor ring and started to make them walk in circles. Cal was a bit confused but Heart was okay. Andrea kept Cal at a walk and i started to make Heart trot. She seemed good at that aswell. I gave her a carrot and put her back in her stall. I came back out to see Andrea and Cal. Cal was getting better. So we made her walk again and she seemed perfect. Her strides were long and elegant! "wow!" said Andrea "yep" i said "give her a carrot and put her back in her stall." Andrea did that and we left the barn.
