I tacked and groomed Aurora and lead her out to the paddock. She hadn't been out for a while so she was very exited. As I mounted her I could feel her tense ready to beggin.
"Today we will work on Dressage movements!" I bent down and wispered. I took her through a number of circles and serpentines at a walk and she completed them perfectly. Then I raised the pace to a trot. A graceful transition! We did several more serpentines and circles, wich she completely wonderflly. I raised the pace one more notch to a canter. Her transition showed her training! We completed a few more circles before I asked her to do something new. I asked her to do a counter-canter. Her feet almost stop altogether. I had really confused her! Well we would have to work on that later. I pulled her into a walk and then dismounted. I lead her back up to the barn and untacked her. I groomed and hosed her down, letting her graze before I put her back in her stall.
Before I left I pulled out an apple and feed it to her as I wispered" You did really great job today!"
I closed the barn doors and headed back up to the house.
