I walked down to the stallion barn and walked in and grabbed a halter saying "Sweet October". I walked out to the paddock and whistled sharply. October lifted his head and trotted over to me. I gave him a pat and placed the halter on his exquisite head. He followed me willingly up to the barn where i hooked him in crossties. I got out his tack and grooming equipment. I groomed the stallion and then tacked him up. I led him out to the outdoor ring and mounted up. Then i asked him for a walk. He strode out at the walk and we went around 2 times before i asked him for a trot. Clearly eagar to move out he broke into a jig. I pulled him back and got him to trot right. I posted easily to the trot and then i asked for a canter. I got him to canter and i pulled him to a stop after a few rounds. I saw that the course was set at 3ft from a lesson. So i asked for a canter and headed for the first jump. He flew over it inches to spare. He cleared the rest of the course and then i pulled him up and dismounted and then led him to the barn where i groomed him and gave him a bath and put him in his stall with his blanket on. Then i went to start supper.
