i quickly yet efficiently groomed memento and then saddled him. i then led him outside to the outdoor arena. i had set up a jumps course for him with jumps around the 4' mark. i spent about 5 mins warming him up, walkin, troting and cantering him around the outside of the ring until he was ready to go. i pressed the button on my watch to start the timer as we bagan. he rushed, a little to enthusiastically towards the first jump, so i had to slow him down beofre we took off. aside from that he cleared all of the jumps, even a high 4'6", quite well. as usual, he had a little problem with his pacing/strudes between the triple, but with a little more work i hope to have that cleared up. we finished the course in good time as well. after the course, i worked him again and again over the triple, getting him o work on his strides so he needent have to pull up, take off early or take off late on the triple. once i was satisfied, i took him around tthe course again, and this time he had no problem with the trople, just taking it in his stride. i cooled him down for 10 mins aftre wards, working on his extened and collected walk and then i unsaddled him and lead him towards the paddock. i turned him out for the rest of the day.
