I drove to the barn. Shep was sitting in the front seat and Holly and Puffy were in the back. I parked in the parking lot and all of us got out. Shep ran over to TC's paddock and Puffy ran over to Mini. I walked into the barn and got my stuff out. I got Courage's stuff out first. I was going to ride him first. I took Courage's halter and lead out to his Paddock. He trotted along the fence to the gate. He nuzzled me as I slipped the halter on. I lead him inside. I checked on Shep and puffy. Shep was laying inside the paddock and TC was laying next to him. It was soooo cute!
puffy was sitting in the bleachers with Holly. I brushed Courage good and then tacked him up. I lead him out to the ring. i mounted him and we walked to the rail. "I can't wait
til you turn 4 boy. Then I can teach you to jump!" I told my QH. He nickered gently. I then asked him to trot. We worked on collecting and extending him at the trot. Once we trotted for awhile i asked him to walk and catch his breath.
I then asked for the canter. He was so smooth. As we cantered around the ring I could feel all of the power he had. I then asked him to come back to the trot. The transition was beautiful. I trotted a 1/2 ring and asked him to walk. i let him catch his breathe again before cantering figuire eights and making him do simple changes. He was getting good at this. He got the lead in 2 or 3 trot steps now. Soon he would be able to learn to do flying lead changes. I cooled him off and then untacked him. I hosed him off and let him dry abit before turning him back out. He whinnied at me before galloping around excitedly. I laugh as i swapped his halter for TC's. I put his briddle away and got TC's polos and briddle out. I finally walk to TC's paddock were he was waiting at the gate, pawing with excitement. i got him and lead him into the barn. I groomed him well and then put on his bellboots and polos. I got my helmet and then saddled and briddled him. I led him out to the ring and mounted him. We walked and trotted around,
doing lots of circles. I cooled him off and untacked him. I hosed him off and let him dry some before putting him back out. I then put away his halter and got out Dutchess's. I brought her in and groomed her. I tacked her up and warmed up. Next, I lowered the jumps in the ring from 4ft to 2ft.
I then jumped a jumper course on Dutchess. She seemed to be having lots of fun. She added in a buck for enjoyment. I cooled her off and untacked her. I hosed her off and let her graze until she was dry some. I then turned her back out. I put away my saddle and other stuff and then got Sparkle's halter and lead out. I got her out an led her into the barn. i groomed her and then took her for a walk to stretch her legs. I put her back and then helped Holly get ready to ride..
