Sweetie:
Today i was going to lunge sweetie for half an hour and then drive her for half a hour,on the lunge we did soe second level dressage checking that sweetie was getting all the moves right i has a little go at the test but it is a bit hard to do on the lunge,i got sweetie's harness on and made her pratice her canter with the harness on she was doing it pefectly as though she had done it hundreds of times before i gave her a pat and put her away.
Chippy:
Today i was going to start jumping chippy i got on and warmed him up, i had set up 2 rasied poles and was going to try and get him to jump them,i took him over the trooting pole and her ran out and rear up at them so i took hi over and over untill he went over the whole six laid out on the floor,i wasnt going over the rasid poles today so i rewarded chippy and put him away.
Chelsea and brianna had groom all the ponies before i rode them and were looking at me with the expresion i want to have a ride,"you can have a go on misty chelsea and you can have a go on solly in a minute brianna" i said "ok" and they went to finish tacking up spotty
Sun spot:
I was going to lunge spotty for half an hour as she is a bit lame, i walked and trotted her round doing lots breathers so spotty could rest her leg,i gave her a short canter on each rein and told brianna to hose her leg while i got solly out.
Solly:
I got on solly and he bounced about before i was proberly on i was going to have to stop him from doing this,i got on and warmed up solly i then took him over a course of 3ft jumps he jumped them wilingly so i put the last fence up to 3ft 3 solly refused to times before jumping it and i called brianna to get on she went through some dressage on sol and solly was learning quick,she patted him and thentook him out got off.
Chelsea you best get on misty now"ok"chelsea got on misty and did some 3ft jumps chelsea did not want to jump but i told her they were only a inch bigger than she had jumped before this made her confident and jumped them fine she took misty out and now it was time for foal training
Cookie:
Cookie was first i got cookie and made sure he would let me groom him he was wary of the hoof pick but when i showed him it was fine he relaxed,i them put on his head collar and cliped on a lead rope he walked round the school great so then i trotted him i was happy and put him is his stable
Holiday:
Holiday had harly been handled so today i was going to try and groom her she tried to bit and kick when i put the brush near her and she even kicked me when i tried to pick up her foot! i managed brush her once and it was only on stroke it wass good progress so i left the stable and went to the next foal
Hot ice cream,sea luck,candi coated breaze and breaze of wonder:
I had just got these and are redy to be handled they were all in a paddock i had to see if i could catch them put a head collar on and groom each of them sea luck was being naughty and galloped round the feild the rest were good and let me do all the things i had planned to do when sea luck was caught he refused to be tied up and eascaped into the lunging arena i managed to catch him and give him a quick brush before i had to turm him back out
Girly:
Today i was going to canter her on lunge she was good so i did a little backing at walk,she was walking round loving every second and was vey happy not noticing i was there.
Dreamer:
Brianna took her out to the pratice track and gave her a couple of races she was great and had a great start,the only thing is she wont stop after the race luckly there is a gate at the end and she will eventually stop, so briaana is going to train her to stop after the race.
With all horses rode,worked and groomed we turned them out and put down the foals bedding.
