I walked into the barn with Holly following me.'Do we really have to move our horses again?" she asked. I nodded yes and added,'This time the move will be perminate. Their moving to our new barn remeber?" I said. Holly sadly nodded.
She got out her tack and went to get Mini. I got out my stuff and went to get TC. We both groomed and tacked up our horses. Holly walked Mini out to the ring and i followed. today was her birthday and i was hoping to get her another pony. holly mounted and walked over to the rail to walk. I did the same. After a bit we both started trotting and i passed her with TC's long strides. "Heels down!" I told Holly as i passed her. She fixed her mistake and rode on.
TC and i did lots of circles. We walked and reversed. Then we troted the other direction. I then let TC walk and told Holly to do the same with Mini. 'Now, gather up your reins
and squeeze Mini with your outside leg and bend her head toward the rail.' I told Holly. Mini started to canter. Holly sat up tall in the saddle, sinking way down into her heels. i let her canter once around before telling her to reversed and do the same thing. I told her about leads and had her check her leads. I told her to cool Mini out. i dismounted TC and untacked him. I turned him out into his paddock for the last time. As i was bringing in courage, Holly was leading in her pony. I groomed Couraghe and Holly untacked Mini. I tacked up Courage and led him out to the ring. I hacked him and then started asking for flying lead changes across the diagonal of the ring. The first 2 times he didn't get the change but he finally got one each direction. I cooled him off and untacked him. I hosed him off and turned him out wet. He rolled and galloped around his paddock. I then got Dutchess out a trailrode her quick. I untacked her and turned her out. I groomed Sparkle and then put Holly and I's tack in my car. First we drove our stuff to CP and i's new barn. We put it in the tack room . "Wow mommy! Mini has her name where her briddle goes!" Holly said. I nodded my head and checked to make sure that our horses' stalls were ready. We drove back to TF and then loaded TC and my heavily pregnant mare sparkle onto the 2 horse trailer. Holly and I drove them to the barn were we unloaded them. "Which stall should i put Sparkle in?" asked holly. "The first one. TC is going to live next to her since he's maddly in love with her. He'll kick down the walls if he's not next to her.' I answered.
We went back and then got Mini and Dutchess. We moved Sparkle and TC(they swapped stalls0 so the Dutchess and Sparkle could be next to each other. We put mini next to Dutchess and then went back for courage. We brought him and then put him in his stall. We fed and watered our horses before we left.
