emily waited anxiously for Saddle to arrive. She had Flick's stall ready and couldn't wait to see him. Saddle pulled in and said Hi. I helped her unload flick and let Emily lead him to his stall. i said thanks to Saddle and gave her the halter Flick had been wearing. She left and The girls and i got ready to ride. I got out TC first. I groomed him well. I then tacked him up and led him out to the ring. holly followed me with Mini and Emily led flick out to look around. "You shouldn't ride him today. Remeber, he's only been started lightly under saddle." I told emily.
"I know mom. Him and I are just bonding and I'm letting him look around his new home." she answered. tc and I trotted around the ring. We passed Holly and Mini who were trotting around too. I let TC walk a bit later and told Holly to canter. Holly was doing well with cantering. TC and I reversed and we trotted the other way. i told holly to walk. I cooled TC out and told holly to do the same with Mini. I untacked TC and put him in his stall."Tomorrow we'll see if you get along with Flick. If you do you have a pasture buddy." I said. I then got out Courage. As I was grooming him, Emily led Flick in. "will you ride Dutchess for me?" I asked her. She said yes and put Flick away. she got Dutchess out and began grooming her. I tacked up Courage and led him into the ring. holly led Mini out of the ring. i hacked courage around before asking him for some flying lead changes. He was getting good at them. I cooled him off and led him into the barn. Emily led Dutchess out. I untacked Courage and put him in a boarding paddock for the night. He was happy to be out. I fed and watered the horses. I cleaned their stalls. Emily led Dutchess in. "Wow, dutchess and I were jumping nearly 3 ft!"
said Emily. I ghelped her put dutchess away. We put our things away in the tack room and went up to the house.
