I stood at the barn door waiting patiently for mal to show up with Peaches and CC, my newest horses. their stalls were all ready. Mal pulled into the parking area. We said hi and we unloaded them. Mal took peaches and i took CC. We put them in their stalls and said goodbyes. Mal drove away and i got out stuff to ride TC with. i groomed him well and tacked him up. I led him out to the ring and we walked,trotted and cantered. i cooled him off and put him in his stall. I then put away TC's briddle and got out Courage. I groomed and tacked up Courage. He seemed to be in a better mood today, no tearing around at top speed!
I mounted him and we walked around. I then trotted him. He moved nicely. I then cantered him in each direction. We trotted poles and worked on flying lead changes. He got 1 each direction, not bad for just learning. I cooled him out
and put him away. I then got out Sparkle. Kat whinnied at her but I knew he'd be fine without her. I tacked her up and hacked her. I cooled her out and put her away too. i then got out CC. she stood in the crossties nicely. I groomed her. I took my saddle out and a briddle out to the all purpose ring. I "joined up" with CC and then saddle broke her. I put the briddle on her and eased my weight onto her back. She stood steadily and in sat on her back.
i walked her around. I asked for the trot. She was sooo smooth!!!! I then made her walk and cooled her off. I dimounted and gave her a pat. "You remind me of your daddy."
I told her. She nickered in respose. I then put her in her stall. I gave all the horses treats and fed them. I watered them and cleaned out their stalls. I then went up to the house and told Holly and Emily to go ride their horses.
