I walked out to the ring and set up 2 crossrails in a row.
Today, Courage was going to jump to jumps in a row for the first time. I walked into the barn and tacked him up. I warmed him up on the flat and trotted each fence a couple of times by it's self. Now, i gather up my reins and trotted him toward the first jump. He jumped in nicely. He wanted to canter on so I let him. He jumped long on the second fence but did a flying lead change to correct his lead. I tried again. The next try was better. the 3rd time was near perfect. I was happy with that so I cooled him out.
I dismounted him and untacked him. I put him in his stall and gave him a treat. Holly wasn't feeling well so i groomed Mini. I then got out Jerry and led him around the barn. I tried him up and groomed him. Next, I made sure the clippers were off and I rubbed them all over him. Once he got used to that, I turned them on and let him get used to the sound. Next, I trimmed his whiskers. I did the same stuff to Magic. I put them away and drove to Flying chances.
Saddle and I exchanged greetings and she helped me load my new horse,Amy. Amy is going to be a brood mare incase you wanted to know. I drove her home, unloaded the skittish mare and put her in her stall. I fed and watered the horses. I clean the stall and went back up to the house.
