I walked into the barn and got out Peaches. I groomed the palimino mare and tacked her up. I led her out to the ring and mounted. I hacked her around the ring. she was ok, considering she had'nt ben ridden for a week or two. I cooled her out and untacked her. I turned her out with Mini then. I then got out TC. I groomed him. He was really dirty because I haven't had time lately to groom or ride him. I tacked him up and wrapped him. I Led him out to the ring and mounted him. I walked him to the rail. He seemed really spunky. I asked him to trot and he trotted really fast. I slowed him down to a more confortable pace. I did cicles on him. I trotted him for awhile and then briefly cantered him.
I cooled him out and and untacked him. I then put him back into his stall. I finally got out Coirage and groomed him. I tacked up my prized Quarter horse stud and led him out to the ring. I mounted him. He pranced in place. I was glad I put a martingale on him. "Courage, behave yourself." I said.
I made him walk around before I let him trot. He trotted like a dressage horse. He was on the bit and moving with fluid, long strides. I trotted him around doing cicles and serpintines. All of a Sudden He bucked. I wasn't expecting it but I stayed on. He then decided he was in a rodeo. I went flying through the air and landed in the sand. Courage, surprisingly, stopped and walked over to me. He nuzzled me and waited for me to get up. "It's a good thing I like you Courage or else I swear.." I said and I got up.
I brushed myself off. My arm really hurt but I was ok. I remounted him and caught my breath. I then made him trot more. He was a perfect angel the rest of the ride. He jumped nicely too. I cooled him out and untacked him. I then put him out in the pasture. I then worked with Amy, to get her used to me. By the end of our "join up" session she was following me around. (Like Flick and Emily) i put her away and went back up to the house.
