I walked into the tackroom. I grabbed my tack. i had to make two trips this time because I had to carry TC's stuff now instead of just Courage's. I walked out to courage's paddock. He saw me and came over to the gate. i got him out and led him into the barn. i groomed him. i then tacked him up and grabbed my helmet. I led him out to the ring. I checked to girth and mounted. I left the gate open when i led courage in so we could walk out. We walked through the gate and onto the trail that leads to the meadow. courage walked happily. We came to the fork in the trail. "I wonder.." I said to myself. I made Courage got to the right this time. "I want to see where this leads." I told Courage.
The trail was narrow and was dark. Tall trees towered over head. Courage was a little cautious. We walked for awhile. After a bit we came to a clearing. In the tall grass something moved. I looked closer and discovered a fawn. I turned Courage around and we when to the meadow on the other trail. I hacked him in the meadow. Courage liked being ridden out in the open. I cooled him out by walking back to the barn. I dismounted and ran up my stirrups. I took Courage into the barn and untacked him. i groomed him and gave him a treat. I led him out to his paddock and turned him out. He walked over to a shaddy corner and laid down. I walked back into the barn and put Courage's halter away. I got TC's halter out next. i walked to his paddock. I spotted him in the corner nuzzling Sassy. Sassy was playfully nipping TC. When Sassy would nip, TC would nip back. TC then spotted me and walked over to the gate. I said Hi to him and led him into the barn. I groomed him and tacked him up. I put on his bell boots and polos. I put on my helmet and led him out to the ring. I checked the girth and mounted. TC moved off in a pretty walk. I heard him hit his bell boots. The sound was rythmical. I let him walk for a bit before trotting. His trot was steady with a slight bounce. He arched his neck as he moved. "Your just showing off. Silly horse." I told him. He nickered gently. I did lots off circles. TC bended nicely. I let him walk and then trotted the other direction. We then called it quits at that since he couldn't take much hard work. I dismounted and led him into the barn. I took his briddle off and put his halter on. He rubbed his head affectionatly on my shoulder. I finished untacking him. I groomed him, gave him a treat and took him out to his paddock. I turned him out. He walked over to a dusty spot and rolled. He then got up and went to check on "his mare". Sparkle nickered at him. He nickered back. Sassy squealed and galloped around. i went
and got Dutchess out of her paddock. I groomed her and checked to make sure everything with the foals was alright.
dutchess was just 2 days away from having her foal. she was starting to feel it, I could tell. I led her back out to her field and turned her out. Next, I worked with Sassy. She was a bit more accepting of the halter and lead today.
I got her out of the paddock and walked her around a little outside. I tied her to the fence and groomed her. I put her back and groomed sparkle. I then put away my stuff and cleaned out all of my horses paddocks. I watered them and said bye. I then went home.
