 yes please tell me all the info that seems relivent. It sounds like Subseven has screwed up a program that runs from startup on your comp. It sounds like a program that needs to access the internet. If you can find the program that is making this proublems you proubly can just uninstall it and reinstall it and not run that version of S7 anymore and you should be fine.

To help norrow down the programs that it could be, you could find a way to disable all startup programs and then
slowly enable them one at a time till you get the proublems again. Im not sure how to do it in xp but in 98 there is safemode and a utility called msconfig, and Nt has all kinds of error trouble shooters.

the best tip is dont get mad and start doing all kinds of stuff that makes it worse.
