Dear Kelly,
As I listened to the show this morning, and heard a mother state that if her daughter were performing oral sex to please her boyfriend, her daughter should be pleasured as well, my mouth hit the floor! I know that you could not believe what you were hearing, as I could not as well! I have a 16 year old daughter, and in listening to this mother, I knew in my heart at that moment that this is why we are living in such dark times! It shocked me so, that I had to pull over to the side of the ride to compose myself. It is no wonder that the children of this generation are looking upon sex as they do. It is because of parent's attitudes like that, we are raising a generation that we complain about their need for instant gratification. We have lived here for approx. two years from a small community back east, and it still amazes me what some mothers do and think here. For example, my daughter is a 10th grade high school cheerleader, and for their christmas party, one of the mothers bought each of the girls a thong with rhinestones, bragging about how she had picked those out herself! Another is during one of the traveling competitions, some of the mothers took their daughters to the gift store of a Coyote Ugly to purchase them Tshirts which read "I danced on the bar at Coyote Ugly". I feel as if we are living in the middle of Sodom & Gamora and I am the odd/mean mother, because I believe that these mother's behavior is improper and sets a horrible example for their daughters.
Just wanted to let you know, that there are still some mothers like myself who still are trying to raise their daughters to have high moral standards! I pray that God will bless you with a baby, as in this day and age, we need more people like yourself parenting the future children of our country!
