Granted, he may have been talking about the abandonment of Hellenistic and Epicurean practice in 1st century Corinth, but it applies to the rest of us as well, i.e. don't worry Matt, wait until the present pandemonium has subsided, then do whatever needs to be done.

P.S. In case of stress emergency, I have plently more random quotes from fun-loving theologians and scholars.
