Now that everyone has heard the fish stories, here's the truth.

1. We pulled out of my house only 15 minutes from the time that the Osprey said they would be arriving.

2. The fan belt did break as we pulled away. Thank God it broke there. All in all the delay was minor considering what could have happened. Not to mention, we had a nice breakfast at Knotty Pines. We were waiting for it to open with all of the other "retires."

3. Upon arriving in Delta, the Osprey insisted on going to Athens for minnows. Why Ahtens you ask? Because the minnow tender has all of the right assets to be seen in Montreal! The minnows were subpar. They only last one, maybe two casts. Upon seeing this, I knew what I had to do. I "released" them so that we could go to Wings for the good minnows. This decision was made, fully aware of the ramifications, and allowed the Osprey and the not so thim man to catch fish!

4. I must agree with the Osprey on one note. I didn't see Jeff's rod break as he set the hook. I did look over as he set the hook, and saw "nothing."

5. As for "chick island," we did fish that spot heavily without success. We were determined to get something from that island. Funny though, I don't recall ever seeing fish around that island before, and once the beaver disapeared from the island so did our attempts to catch fish around it.

6. I also must agree with the not so thin man in that the Osprey somehow managed to catch a fish that was smaller than his "minnow," and we all know from years in the locker room that that's small!

7. As to my effort to retrieve Jeff's lure. I spent much of my time trying to aid him in his poor casting. This particular time, I quickly reached for his lure at no concern for my safety. Being fleet of foot, I was able to counter the rocking of the boat caused by the shifting of a large amount of weight as the Osprey tried to get a view of what I was doing. I did manage to avoid injury, and only get my arm wet.

8. We could have avoided a trip to Montreal to look for "siliconus maximus," if we would have spent more time in Delta's only grocery store where we found an indiginous Delta species known as "naturalae maximus!" Note: All Jeff has to do is purchase the store, as it's for sale, inorder to study this species in detail.

9. Montreal is unbelievable. My neck is still sore from piviting so much as we drove along the river. Not to mention the walk through the streets.

10. This was a very memorable trip. As George said the weather was great. We actually slowly cruised around the lake one night drinking the rest of the beer. That's something we never did before. All in all it was a very enjoyable trip that we all look forward to next year.
