I knew Al Pelletier when he came to Grand Rapids, Michigan circa 1973, and became District President. He was indeed a very dynamic speaker, and I attended a meeting of the "WEYS," that he began.

Unfortunately, I was also witness to some of the events which led to his silencing. I have no wish, however, to speak ill of someone who is no longer able to defend himself - especially in a public forum like this one. Suffice it to say that it was just a sad situation all around.
