Al was important and helpful to me when i was in my teens, he had a very good mind. His daughter, Paulette, and I were near at the same age, and "little Al" and I were great pals. Big Al presided at my mother's wedding to her new husband (in 1960, i think that was the year).

In my youth the world revolved around Zionic Living-- I had known little else; then came puberty, the forces of the body making themselves known and undeniable. The mind opened itself to hard questioning-- thats where he was a big help.

Whatever transpired in his life that made Independence roll its eyes and call him to the carpet I simply cannot be bothered to care: people is people and sometimes they screw up.

The man I knew helped me thru some tuff times.
