he may or may not have said this. but if he did, he did not mean it in any religious manner (einstein often made certain statements, which have been falsely (as he himself elaborated) interpreted as meaning he is religious, the most famous being "god does not play dice", which he stated in regards to quantum mechanics, which he did not believe was valid)

that's false logic. we can NOT believe things that have NOT been proven. we can only believe things that HAVE been proven. if what you say would be true, then you must believe that i'm god, that i created you 10 seconds ago with all your memories in place, and that i'm omnipotent, as it has not been proven wrong. perhaps now you will realize the error of your ways.
