Subject: I posted this on another board in response to someone...I think it could be aplicable here...

...I would be a liar if I told you that there are periods when my emotions don't steam up and force me to loath and despise certain people or things for a short period of time, but I think everyone here knows how hard this world is...in knowing this, I don't understand why people can't except people for being like they are in the long run(even if we find them disgusting and dispicable)...

...I think it is just to easy to hate...

...many things are just to easy, many of the paths we walk are the softest ones....

...but that is why nothing changes because we take the easy way out, and have been for far to long...

...I am not saying to go off and love everyone either...

...it just doesn't work, and it's a lie in itself...

...besides, things don't change if you don't challenge them...

...I try and except people, and redirect my negative emotions towards ideas, I do loath and hate certain ideas...

...but in every person, no matter there short comings, or what they have done or achieved, no matter what they have destroyed that is beautiful, or created that is ignorant, destructive, and divisive, is nothing but a well spring of future potential for something better then they actually are...if they are so properly harnessed...

...granted the potential also lies for future destruction, yet what right do we have to say they are wrong or to scorn these people...

...most of us, including the ones here who do believe in some form of higher authority, do not believe in an adjudicating moral force...so what gives us moral authority...our free will? Our whims, what we precieve as right? If so, is this not truly the same thing for these individual's aligned against us, whether they no it or not? Nothing makes us right accept for our force of will, so in that case there force of will also makes them right...so the only way you can truly be differnt then most of these things you hate with any substance is to define a better way through personal action and thought...and not sitting around with bottled up hatred towards your peers and predecessors...
