Subject: Smiles round at her friends, wish me luck then Author: Angel [ Next Thread | Previous Thread | Next Message | Previous Message ] Date Posted: 10:03:39 04/25/02 Thu In reply to: Angel 's message, "Fine she grins, cantering on the spot lets get this started" on 08:23:51 04/25/02 Thu Canters round the horse's in a large circle before aiming at the first jump the hedge is easy looking and she clears it smoothly turning in mid-air she gallops on towards the log pile slowing as she reaches it she jumps cleanly giving it plenty of air as she notes the unsteadiness of it again landing back into gallop she continues on looking ahead to the next jump, its low just a branch really sticking out but other branches overhang it she holds back again then changing her mind increases her speed jumping wide and flat she fits through without to much bother but it felt a lot tighter, now in the woods she gallops along the twisty path coming to the double earlier then she expected she tries to steady herself too late puts in a short stride and just making it over the first part then having to take off on a long stride for the second part her back hoof knocks lightly against the log and she looks back but it stays wedged in the trees leaving the woods she jumps over the wide length of logs barely breaking her galloping stride she carries on over the hedge for the second time and turns to the right making the dogleg turn look easy she easily makes the reach for the water landing lightly she turns to the left having left the turn to late she has to slow dramatically to make the turn taking off from a trot she clears the Fence, landing lightly she canters away before circling back to her friends, Well she grins it might not have been the tidiest round but at least it was clear she laughs happily her sides heaving she bends her head to drink [ Next Thread | Previous Thread | Next Message | Previous Message ]
