You know what, I agree with Terra: this whole argument is getting way out of hand and a little silly, frankly. Oricon, I really don't mind if you emmit light. Only, a glowing person tends to remind me of someone whose been doused with radiation or of a certain race of 'Shining Ones' in a series by David Eddings whose touch instantly rots flesh...so I don't really associate glowing people with nice things. But a glow can be a good thing, I guess it just depends on the person who is doing the glowing.

And if you haven't read the Silmarillion, it's okay. It's a little harder to read, and it's not as well known as Tolkien's other LotR books (I had only heard of it briefly, and I didn't start reading it until my friend pointed it out to me as a good book to read).

Also, the elves here in Carnerik are left open to lots of interpretation, so they don't necessarily have to be Tolkien's elves (although Tolkien is so famous, that's the interpretation most people take of them nowadays).

In finish...let's just end this rather childish argument and all be friends, 'kay? ^.^
