Subject: "You're not alone on that," Jon mutters back to Mackai, glaring suspiciously at the figure. He's not planning on getting caught in something messy, but he senses he might have to step a little more carefully in order to avoid doing so. "Like what?" he demands of the figure. "I's not like you can make us do anythin', hidin' in your shadows like you are." Realizing that what he's just said isn't necessarily along the lines of 'careful', he cautiously adds, "And anyways, why's it matter so much that you know our names? They're jes names, ain't they?"
In reply to: Stranger, Mackai and Kaleb 's message, ""If you won't tell me your names then I suggest you leave very quickly. If you don't then something nasty might happen." the stranger said in a low whisper. Mackai turned to Jon and whispered "No one's supposed to be here. I'll kill that kid! (refering to the one that told her no one was here)" Kaleb remains completely oblivious to the possibly dangerous situation they were in." on 15:01:45 11/20/04 Sat

Ha! /Marvelous/. That's beautiful.

As a matter of fact, I collect random quotes (and in truly disorganized fashion, at that). Movies, musicals, plays, books, rehearsals, emails, and other random sources...I get quotes from all of them. Here's just a couple of my favorites:

"Make love quick." (From the choir teacher at my school during a rehearsal for 'South Pacific'...he was telling the gal playing Nellie to sing "I'm in love" faster, because she's got thirteen to sing in just one breath during one of her songs)

"Grumio, my horse!... Well, she /acts/ like one sometimes...." (Petruchio in 'Taming of the Shrew', when he said the wrong line: he was supposed to say "Grumio, go to your mistress and tell her I command her come to me." Oh well...)

"And you can tell her High and Mighty Queen Mab that, magic or no magic, if she harms you in any way, I'll have her guts for my bootlaces!" (Ambrosia in "Merlin")

Et cetera. But I must off for now.
