Imaran stood up, and began pacing, well aware that he had everyone's attention.
"As everyone knows, the bandit has been set free, with the possible chance that he could come back and kill any one of us. Now I have an Idea. We need to get to the bandit and challenge him to a fight. We'll make him an offer to good to refuse.
He fights me, and the winner is the one still alive. If he wins then he gets to finish what he came here to do, and he gets to kill Crystaline as well."
Looking at the shocked expression on everyone's face, especialy Crystaline's, he put up his hands in defence. "Now I didn't say that we would actually let him kill her if he won. If he won, we could take him back to the Council, and have him put to death on account of Murder. MY murder. Do you see? If I win, then the problem of the bandit will be all taken care of, then wouldn't it?
Now I need Twilight and Faye to stand by watching just in case he does win, so that when he goes to Kill Crystaline, you'll be able to catch him." He looked around to see everyone's reaction to his proposal.

But what could they do? What else would end the threat of the bandit? She looked at her brother. "Imaran, do you realize what you are saying?
