Kestra tries to get her mind off her perdicament. She reminds herself "I'm too young. I'm too young. Just 5 more months. You're not that impatient, are you?" But this made her angry inside. "Why did there have to be a rule such as this? I can't possibly wait until I turn 15! I've waited enough already!" She reaches under her bed and finds her journal, so she decides to try to change her thoughts and write in it for the day. As she writes down the date, her thoughts start to overpower her. Deep within her, something cries out for adventure. Kestra becomes quite frustrated and throws the journal on her bed. She starts to pace up and down the hallways, lost and frustrated in her thoughts...

They appear to be getting too small for her. "Great, now I have to sew. I HATE sewing with a passion!!!" She sits and braids her long, black hair in two simple braids at each side.
