Subject: Advice for a drastic change

Ok. I have long been considering cutting off my hair. This past spring I had it all the way down my back. I've cut it up to my shoulders since then (my fall back length) but am still longing for a bigger change. I want short short hair, as in above my chin. I'm not at all sure if I can pull a cut like this off.

I am 20, but look quite a bit younger than that; short (5'0) and quite heavy (180, size 16). I'm not sure if my face is round or oval. It's pretty much the same width from jaw to eyebrow, but wide. My father is Filipino so I have a small asian nose. My eyes are my best feature, they're green and large and I have a high forehead. As for my hair... it's brown (I think my last stylist described it as a nice warm wood color) fine, but I have plenty so it doesn't look thin. It's stick straight, but the shorter it gets the easier it is to bring out the body. Hope that's enough details. I'm working on getting a picture to e-mail to you.

I need advice, as specific as possible. I am currently overseas and don't know any good stylists here. I think that if I have a very clear idea in mind that it will be ok. Please please help.
