I'd love just as much as any other niner fan to see the niners go 14-2 and win the Super Bowl, but reality has to set in, this team isn't good enough. I think it comes back to is Mooch calling pussy plays because he is a useless coach, or is he calling these pussy plays because he knows his defence isn't strong enough. Plummer, the teams best CB, was hammered by Toomer, and when you have backups like Rumph, Holman, Williams etc. how the hell are we supposed to stop thepassing game. On defense, we have great players, Peterson, Parrish, Carter, players that could start on any team, mixed in with average ones, Stubblefield, Engelburger, Webster, guys that would start for Cincinnati, but that's it. And offense is the same, TO is the best WR in the league. Jeff Garcia isn't going to be the greatest, but he's still good, great OL, good RBs. But what's supposed to happen when TO is double or tripple teamed? Throw to who? Streets is getting better, but isn't a starter yet. There are far to many holes in this team for it to be a Super Bowl champ yet, give Mooch a defence, get an offensive co-ordinator that'll have some balls.

I don't want the niner fans to stop bitching either until we're running around in the Super Bowl after going 16-0, but reality has to set in. For this team that Mooch put on the field, that was as far as they could have gone. I don't want the niners to settle now, they need to buy/draft the players that will get them to the Super Bowl, and the fans need to keep pushing them.
