Did you guys forget that Terry Donahue was hand picked by Bill Walsh himself and then trained by Walsh for 3 years before Walsh handed over the reigns???
Erickson will be as good as Denny Green and won't have the conflict with T.O. that Green has(Green has made bad remarks about T.O. in the press and T.O. has shot back in the press,they dislike each other very much!) and it is said that Denise DeBartollo did not want a man of low moral character like Green to coach her team(Green was unfaithful to his wife and had his girlfriend get an abortion rather than face up to his obligations).
Ericksons offense is actually very similar to the west coast offense so it won't be a big change from what Walsh wants and Erickson said he will have many meetings with walsh to discuss the offense. Besides,if you want a offense like Walsh would run then you must have hated the Moochie years(I know Walsh himself was sick when he had to watch his team being run by that fool). Give Erickson a chance and I think you will be pleased to see the REAL 49ers are finally back after a 6 year failed experiment with wrong way Moochie ruining the team that Walsh built. TIM
