I'm an anthropology professor living--well exiled, almost-- in Oklahoma. I've also lived in Canberra, Australia Kagoshima, Japan Christchurch, New Zealand Port Moresby, Papua New Guinea Tanna, mostly, in Vanuatu Honolulu and Memphis here in the US. I grew up in California. I'm 43 and white and my boyfriend of 2 years is 25 and black. (Before that I was married--to a woman--and I have 3 graceful if noisy daughters.)
