i played for liberty center tigers

hi everyone.Im not from canton but i have been there. I played for a very good Div 5 team called the Liberty Center Tigers in northwest Ohio.In 1997 we played at pbts and beat amanda clear creek aces and won 49-8 setting many state records.Anyway that year we took a trip as a team to the hall of fame.Everyone on the bus was in awe when we saw fawcett satdium with a big sign on it that said Canton Mckinley Bulldogs Usa todays #1 team in the nation.We all dreamed of playing at fawcett someday.The next year we went to state again and played apple creek waynedale at pbts and lost.My senior year the state made an announcement that half the games would be played at fawcett and that was the year that the div 5 championships were to be played there.We were all so excited to know that.that year we made to the playoffs but unfornutely lost the last game before state by 6 points in the final seconds of the game and we never got to go to fawcett.in 1997 we got to eat at chris speilmans restaurant and were all very pleased.i loved playing at pbts but found that there carpet was horribly uncomfortable.Like running thru sand, and when u hit the turf little specs of the carpet stuck too u.kinda sux anyway i always wish i could have played there.Canton is a place were legends r born.
