Name: Elvira or Elly. Elvira is pronounced El – veeeera.
Gender: Female
Age: 15
Appearance: Of average height and of more rounded build than most, Elly is nothing special to look at. Her face is normal – not ugly, not beautiful. Her brown hair is wavy, and always tied back, and her eyes are calm grey. Her clothes are always plain, and she is usually smiling.
Personality: Rather shy and yet still talkative to those she knows, Elly is a careful girl, who likes to tease and has a brilliant sense of humour.
Skills: Not much. She can read, write and do excellent maths, but that’s about it. She can lip-read and speak in sign-language, too.

She’s deaf. Not profoundly deaf, but partially deaf.
She is Salty’s sister – there are only ten months between them.
NO DRAGON FOR HER. Please. What would she do with one? Nah, I think she’ll either be a record-keeper or a dolphineer. I don’t know which one.
