Let's say these two straggled in together....

NAME: Gisella [Headwoman]
AGE: 46
DESCRIPTION: Of average height, Gisella is big-boned, solid, and heavily built, leading some strangers to believe that she's overweight, though even they can only really call her plump. In actuality, the extra weight comes from muscle - she's no weakling, and long hard work has given her a physique more suited to a man. However, she's clearly female; even the muscles fall in womenly curves, and she's fairly well-endowed. Despite said assets, even the most love-struck of men would never call her pretty - attractive, perhaps, if they were being kind, but she lacks truly feminine beauty. Her oval face is strong-jawed, her nose long, thin, and straight, and her eyebrows lie thick and bushy over grey-green eyes. She looks older than her age, which doesn't help the cause; though she's not yet fifty, there's already a network of wrinkles covering her sun-browned face. When young, she had a creamy complexion, but now her skin is as weathered as the mountains of Pern. The one feature that people still admire is her hair - thick, nearly waist-length in its usual braid, and a deep auburn in color, like a piece of copper held in a candle flame.
Stubborn and authoritative, Gisella may no longer be Fort's Lady Holder, but the well-being of the people she serves is still paramount to her. She's not afraid of hard work, and some wonder when she ever sleeps, because she seems to be all over the Weyr at times, organizing and handing out supplies and lending a helping hand whenever it's needed. She rules the Lower Caverns with an iron fist, and while she does very little of the actual kitchen-work, she personally oversees everything. The dearth of drudges and kitchen-workers is no problem for her; she knows exactly how far she can push her workers, picks up a lot of the slack herself, and when worst comes to worst, has enough strength of personality to recruit unoccupied dragonriders no matter how loudly they protest. She adores children, and sometimes regrets that she didn't marry because now she'll never bear one of her own. To fill that lack in her life, she tends to serve as a second mother to the younglings running around.
SKILLS: Being a former Lady Holder, she's good at organization and directing work, and she's also fair at being diplomatic. She's not that much of a healer, but she knows the very basics, enough to keep someone alive long enough for help to show up.
FIRELIZARDS: She's a DRoP transfer, so she gets to keep these guys. Kitty let me transfer two of her old flits to another character, so the two left are Ren and Tev, both browns.

NAME: Mikhal
AGE: 18
GENDER: Male
DESCRIPTION: Short and skinny due to malnutrition as a child, Mikhal is forever doomed to look younger than he really is. A thatch of perpetually messy brownish-blond hair has been allowed to grow shaggy - not quite long enough to tie back and neaten up, but not short enough to look respectable. His face is almost heart-shaped, with a pointed chin, hollow cheeks and high cheekbones, a slightly stubby nose, and a refined forehead. His round eyes are a light brown, almost sienna, and hold a sort of calm wisdom.
Good-natured, amiable, and extremely responsible, Mikhal is determined to fulfill his duties to Gisella and the Weyr, and takes his assigned tasks very seriously. He gets along well with almost everyone, and seems to have few prickly spots - the only things that really appear to bother him are teasing about his status as a worker, or criticism about how he does his duties. He doesn't want to become a dragonrider - heights scare him - but he envies them their bonds to their dragons. His amiable nature can be deceptive, though - he can be stubborn to the point of boneheadedness, and is clever enough that he usually gets his way without anyone ever realizing it. He's highly defensive about the little he owns, as if afraid someone will try to take it away.
SKILLS: He's well-educated, not that it's been much help in the last nine years, and he's surprisingly good at hunting and cooking. Thanks to the disasters, when a woman and boy alone were good targets for the desperate, he's gotten very good at moving in the dark.
