Personality: Taran has long been considered the more moody of the two, and seems to do a lot of things on a whim. He is pretty much always optimistic, but he has a hot temper, and, when things annoy him, you don’t want to be on the receiving end! He is unusually dependant on his brother, Arden, and goes to him if he needs advice. He is desperate to become a dragonrider, but if he will follow his dream remains to be seen…

Appearance: The twins are identical, and most people can’t help but grin at such cheery duplicates as these boys. But no twins are exactly alike, and this is so for Taran and Arden. Still having the same muscular, chunky figure as his brother, and being the same height, he is longer in leg, arm and torso than his brother, and sometimes a frown replaces his fun-filled smile.

Personality: Arden is laid-back, easygoing, and always in a good mood. At times, he can be seen to balance out his more energetic brother, and he has long been regarded as the calmer of the two. It takes a lot to annoy him, and he is the type of person who would talk calmly about a problem rather than arguing. He was always fascinated by the ocean, and dolphins in particular at his home hold, and so he will become a Dolphineer here at New Isle.

Appearance: As I have said before, the twins are identical. They both have the same dark, almost black eyes, and cropped, coarse brown hair. They are both 5”5, and very stocky with muscle. Arden is blocky more than anything else, more so than Taran. Their frames are large, unusual for ones so short, and it has to be said that being so vertically challenged is the bane of both their lives.


History: The twins have long been regarded by most as a single entity. They were apprenticed to the same people, and have always lived in the same dwelling. It wasn’t thought that this could do more harm than good, but nobody realised how much Taran had come to depend on his brother until he was too dependant.
But each had a passion that lay in a different place, and they had to separate. We will have to see how Taran takes the separation.
