Dragon: Blue Scarth – an exceptionally large blue.

Gender: Male

Appearance: Gorgeous. Need I say more? He’s tall, dark, handsome, the lot. I mean, this guy is wonderful. His hair is very dark brown, so dark it almost looks black. His eyes are very dark brown, and his skin is evenly tanned. He is 6”6, fit and athletic like so many riders, and rather slim. His face is just – gorgeous, and so is his body. He is almost perfect – on the downside, he knows it.

Personality: He can make it with the ladies – and men – and he knows it. He’s like those riders you hear about in the books who had children all across Pern. Almost a male version of Kylara, actually. Except that it really doesn’t matter to him – man or woman. He can charm the birds out of the trees – he could talk the hind legs of a runnerbeast, but then persuade it to go for a walk. But he does have some depth. He has a fondness for children, and he is nice to people, if a little arrogant.
He has never quite forgiven himself for accidentally raping a green-rider during a flight – he was too much Scarth to realise that she wasn’t participating, and when she told him afterwards he was torn up. It took two years of raging alcoholism until someone realised what was wrong, and now he never drinks, though the guilt still eats away at him.
