I bought one of those about 25 years ago. Mine's a .45 percussion, and resembles a tower pistol. The barrel is also serial numbered. I'm not sure that this wasn't a kit gun, but if it was, the builder did an excellent job on fit and finish. As good as it looks, the bore in mine was in pretty bad shape when I got it, most likely from not being properly cleaned after shooting. A few hours of TLC later, I found the rifling to be intact but not without some pitting. I've shot it a few times, but wouldn't want to bet my life on the accuracy. I wouldn't go more than 20 grains of FF for a load, or 15 of FFF in mine. As for the value, I paid $25 for mine. Looks great in my book case.
