I sent a letter to my friend Robbi that was in jail. They sent the letter back, I think he was sent to prison. He sent a few letters that I never got to read because I was in jail and for some reason I can't explain my brother tried to mail me his letters. I never got them because they're not going to give you a letter from another inmate.

Really wish my brother hadn't done that but it's whatever. Hope he didn't think I was ignoring him. Maybe I can find out where he was moved to on the internet so I can write him and lift his spirits. When he wrote last, he was saying that he was on trial facing 23 to life.

I only knew Robbi a short time but we had a lot in common. I hate that he has to lose so much time to the system. Now if he got probation, which could've happened he told me he was going to get it transferred to his hometown in Indiana. I know that if you do the crime you have to do the time but it still sucks to see how much time some people get.
I hope that I never have to go to prison. I talked with a guy when I was in jail that did 10 years. He was 30 years old and I believe he was in prison from age 17-27. I couldn't imagine doing that much time in any kind of institution. Kind of reminds me not to take my freedom for granted.
I also feel that South Carolina is more strict than other states.
